The percutaneous
aspiration thromboembolectomy catheters are used for
percutaneous aspiration of fresh thromboembolic occlusion.
This technique
is used for:

thromboembolic occlusions less than 10 days
- short and recent arterial occlusions on normal or
pathologic arteries
- aspiration of residual thrombi after a local
fibrinolysis
- aspiration of iatrogenic embolic complications
PERCUTANEOUS ASPIRATION THROMBOEMBOLECTOMY CATHETER:
This catheter type is composed of a flexible and soft tip
that permits retrograde way through venous system and avoids
valvule damages
The percutaneous aspiration thromboembolectomy catheters are
composed of a PEBAX tube, a coloured PTFE sleeve and a
polyamide Luer Lock hub.
